Takes off like a rocket, flies like a plane.

For a long-range delivery aircraft, we required the most efficient VTOL frame. A tailsitter, which uses the same components for horizontal, vertical, and transition flight by rotating the entire frame, provided the ideal solution. This design is highly efficient for horizontal flight and enables vertical landings without the need for additional propellers or heavy moving parts.

Next-generation Blended Wing Body Frame

By incorporating Boeing's BWB aircraft concept, we achieved a highly efficient lift-to-drag ratio and lift distribution that minimizes the need for internal supports to handle bending loads. This, along with a carbon fiber frame, enables us to create a frame that is 10 times lighter than other long-range delivery drones, resulting in highly efficient aircraft.

The numbers speak for themselves.

Airbound’s drone has an all-up weight of 2.5kg and can carry a maximum payload of 1kg. With a range of 100km, it is suitable for a range of applications. Its projected area is 2.5 sq ft, which is relatively compact. The manufacturing cost is $700, and overall offers a cost-effective solution with a good range and payload capacity for various use cases.
